SPECIAL THANKS BOWL HISTORY TCU GEORGIA ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL® 152 | 58th AutoZone Liberty Bowl HONORS BOWL EVENTS WELCOME St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of partners like the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, St. Jude continues to turn laboratory discoveries into lifesaving treatments for children – every day. And families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. St. Jude founder Danny Thomas dreamed of a day when no child would die in the dawn of life and opened St. Jude to the sick children of the world in 1962. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent. But that is simply not good enough. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude treats children from all 50 states and around the world. But St. Jude also freely shares its groundbreaking discoveries, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. As the teams take to the field today, St. Jude is grateful for the partnership with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and the volunteers, supporters and fans who have embraced the St. Jude mission as their own. This support is vital to raising funds and awareness for St. Jude in the fight against childhood cancer and other diseases that threaten children’s lives. In November of this year, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and College Football Playoff Foundation presented a record donation of $222,766.01 to St. Jude. St. Jude patients and families also enjoy a tradition of meeting the players and coaches from the participating teams prior to the big game, and being a part of the annual half-time spectacle, this year featuring a performance by Grammy Award-winning group, The Commodores. One team will be declared a champion today, but the real winners of the 58th Annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl are the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Join the mission at stjude.org: Finding cures. Saving children.® CURRENT DALLAS COWBOYS STARTING QUARTERBACK DAK PRESCOTT VISITED ST.
