TCU GEORGIA 194 | 58th AutoZone Liberty Bowl SPECIAL THANKS BOWL HISTORY HONORS BOWL EVENTS WELCOME ABOUT THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF FOUNDATION/EXTRA YARD FOR TEACHERS The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which serves as the charitable arm of the College Football Playoff. While there are many causes deserving of the CFP Foundation’s support, the Foundation is committed to supporting education across the country. The CFP Foundation’s reach encompasses early childhood education, inspiring a college going culture, and supporting the teaching profession. Within these initiatives, the primary focus of the Foundation is teachers, expressed through Extra Yard for Teachers cause brand. The mission of Extra Yard for Teachers is to elevate the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering quality teachers. In November, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation/Extra Yard for Teachers combined to present a $222,766.01 check to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. A portion of this contribution went toward supporting educational initiatives at St. Jude, which help ensure quality teachers are available to students at St. Jude who are in extraordinary circumstances every day. The AutoZone Liberty Bowl would like to thank the College Football Playoff Foundation for its contribution to St. Jude, and for inspiring and supporting outstanding teachers and mentors who work diligently to educate students across the country! CFP FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BRITTON BANOWSKY (STANDING, RIGHT OF CENTER), AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS WERE ON-HAND AT LIBERTY BOWL STADIUM TO PRESENT THE CONTRIBUTION TO ST. JUDE.
