2017 Anthem Annual February

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the most diverse motorsports facility in the world. Hosting more than 1,300 events per year, LVMS boasts more than a dozen different racing LAS VEGAS Motor Speedway venues highlighted by the 1.5-mile superspeedway. In addition, the speedway offers racing for everyone whether it be at The Bullring (a 3/8-mile paved oval), one of the many road courses, the half-mile dirt track or the state-of-the-art dragway. Construction began in 1996, and required crews to move a total of four million cubic yards of dirt, equaling 35,000 yards per day. A custom-designed lighting system features 2,600 lighting fixtures on 200 light poles. Since it opened with the Las Vegas 500 Verizon IndyCar Series event in 1996, Las Vegas Motor Speedway has blossomed. The track welcomed the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series a few years later in 1998, and now hosts the NASCAR Premier Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The venue also hosts the largest electronic musical festival in the world — the Electric Daisy Carnival — and is often used for corporate events and ride-and-drive programs and has been the home to filming for many popular TV shows.
