CB BRANDON CARR Carr, 30, is entering his 10th NFL season after never missing a start in his career (144-consecutive games) while playing for the Cowboys (2012-16) and Chiefs (2008-11). The 6-0, 210-pounder has registered 477 tackles, 15 INTs (2 returned for TDs), 109 PD, 9 FRs and 1 FF. Carr’s 144-consecutive starts rank as the NFL’s longest active streak among cornerbacks, with the next closest being Arizona CB Patrick Peterson (96). (Carr’s 144 rank sixth among all active NFL players.) While playing for Dallas last season, Carr posted 61 tackles (53 solo), 1 INT and 9 PD. He was a key contributor to a Cowboys’ defense that helped the team produce a 13-3 record and No. 1 overall seed in the NFC playoffs. Entering his fth NFL season, Jefferson had spent his entire career with the Arizona Cardinals, seeing action in 63 games (31 starts). The 25-year-old has posted 260 tackles (211 solo), 20 TFL, 5 sacks, 2 INTs (1 returned for a TD), 11 PD, 6 FFs and 3 FRs during his career. Last season, he appeared in 15 games (14 starts), recording a team-high 92 tackles (74 solo), 2 sacks, 5 PD, 2 FFs and 2 FRs. A premier run-stopping safety, Jefferson’s 13 TFL led all NFL DBs in 2016. (Landon Collins was next with 9.) In addition, the 13 TFL rank as the NFL’s most by a DB in a single season since the stat began being tracked in 2008.
