2017 Baltimore Ravens Yearbook

2017 BALTIMORE RAVENS YEARBOOK    29 Six-time Pro Bowl guard/tackle Marshal Yanda will be a familiar face on the offensive line. Ranked No. 43 on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2017, he has created a reputation as one of the Ravens’ all-time greats through his sharp skill and consistency. Lining up alongside Yanda in 2016 was left tackle Ronnie Stanley. The then-rookie was tabbed as the best left tackle in the league during the final weeks of the season, per Pro Football Focus. There’s new leadership on the coaching staff with senior offensive assistant/tight ends coach Greg Roman (right). Although Roman is in his second go-around with the Ravens (2006-07), he is no stranger to the “Harbaugh Way,” serving previous stints under head coach John Harbaugh’s younger brother, Jim, at Stanford and in San Francisco. Roman has 20 years of coaching experience tucked under his belt, five of which he served as an offensive coordinator. Take his knowledge, mixed with some seasoned veterans, coaches like Mornhinweg and Joe D’Alessandris (offensive line), there could be something special brewing on offense this season.
