One of the most innovative and fan-friendly Major League
Baseball stadiums, Chase Field has served as the home
of the Arizona Diamondbacks since the spring of 1998.
Designed by renowned architect Ellerbe Becket, Chase
Field is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, only
4.3 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, with Light
Rail access on-site. During that time, it has hosted seven
Cheez-It® Bowls (formerly Cactus Bowl) as well as various
other sporting and live musical events, in addition to its
Chase Field is the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks,
and has played host to the 2001 World Series Champions
and 2011 MLB All-Star Game. From its retractable roof –
that is operated by a pair of 200-horsepower motors – to
its signature swimming pool, Chase Field is one of the
Valley of the Sun’s most recognizable landmarks.
The ballpark covers approximately 1,300,000 square
feet, including the playing surface, and is divided into six
levels: the eld, main concourse, press level, suite club
level, upper concourse and mechanical level.
