Bruce Popko | Chief Operating Officer – PSE
Bruce Popko was named Pegula Sports and Entertainment’s chief operating officer in February 2017 to oversee all dayto
day operations of PSE entities. He serves as COO of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills, and governor of the Buffalo
Bandits, where he holds the roles of vice chairman of the National Lacrosse League’s Board of Governors and chairman of
the NLL’s marketing and commercial properties committee. From December 2014 to January 2017, Popko was PSE’s EVP of
business development, and oversaw the expansion of the department to combine many of the operations of the Bills, Sabres,
Harborcenter and additional PSE properties.
Popko joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment after serving as the chief revenue officer for the Buffalo Bills, where he was responsible for
local revenue drivers, focusing on growing team revenues and identifying key areas for growth. Popko oversaw corporate sales, luxury suites
and indoor premium seats, as well as the implementation of the Bills’ corporate regionalization strategies. Popko had previously served as
senior vice president of business development, having initially joined the organization in May 2009.
Before joining the Bills, Popko served as senior vice president at IMG from 2005 to 2009 and he was the Cleveland Browns’ vice president
of business development from 1998 to 2004. Additionally, he previously served as director of marketing and promotions for three years
with the San Francisco 49ers (1996-1998) after spending three years with the National Football League office (1993-1995). For two of
those years, he was with the NFL Properties marketing group, where he managed regional retail advertising and promotions. Popko also
managed sales and marketing efforts for the NFL’s satellite programming service, NFL Sunday Ticket. He was a marketing manager for the
New York Jets from 1992 to 1993 and served as game operations manager for the London Monarchs in 1992. Popko is a Director of the
Buffalo Bills Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Buffalo
Renaissance Foundation, the Western NY Lacrosse Foundation, the Law Enforcement Foundation of WNY, and the Western New York Public
Broadcasting Association. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Nardin Academy and serves as chairman of their marketing and
Popko graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and the Stern School of Business at
New York University, where he earned his MBA in finance and marketing. He and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter, Lucy, and two sons,
Henry and Walker.
Frank Cravotta | Executive Vice President of Creative Services – PSE
Frank Cravotta is in his fifth season as the executive vice president of creative services for Pegula Sports and Entertainment.
In his current role, Cravotta oversees the day-to-day and long-term creative services objectives of each company under the
Pegula Sports and Entertainment umbrella. He is responsible for the overall look and feel of each company’s marketing,
media and branding strategy as well as producing the video, graphical and architectural elements needed for each company.
During the past few years, Cravotta and his team have worked on several large-scale projects for the Sabres, KeyBank Center and Harborcenter
that include the rebranding of KeyBank Center, the Sabres’ state-of-the-art locker room and workout facility, Buffalo Sabres Alumni Plaza and
most recently the design and branding of Harborcenter. In 2017, Cravotta was instrumental in the forming of PicSix Creative, a full-service
creative agency under the Pegula umbrella.
Cravotta joined the Sabres organization in 2004 and became the organization’s vice president of creative services in 2012. Prior to
returning to work in his hometown, Cravotta was a senior exhibit designer at Access TCA in Baltimore, Maryland. While at Access, he
designed custom exhibit solutions for major brands including MasterCard International and Under Armour. Prior to Access, Cravotta worked
for Hadley Exhibits in Buffalo as a design detailer. He has also done freelance work for Reebok International and adidas-NBA.
Born and raised in Buffalo, Cravotta earned a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Syracuse University and currently resides in Buffalo with
his wife, Laura and their daughter, Julia.
