Chuck LaMattina | Executive Vice President of Finance – PSE
Chuck LaMattina is in the midst of his fifth season as executive vice president of finance for Pegula Sports and Entertainment.
He is responsible for overseeing financial management and operations, as well as establishing and implementing corporate
financial policies and controls, financial and tax reporting and long-range planning for the Sabres and all Pegula Sports
and Entertainment entities.
LaMattina joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment at its inception in May 2014 and has extensive operational and financial
experience in both the sports and entertainment businesses with more than two decades of service with various organizations. He spent time
in the Sabres front office as vice president of finance and business operations from 2011 to 2014 and director of business and administration
from 2004 to 2011. LaMattina’s previous experience includes time as chief financial officer with DEMCO, Inc. (2000-2004) and corporate
controller with the Sabres (1997-2000).
Prior to joining the Sabres, he worked in public accounting for a number of years, primarily with Freed Maxick CPAs. LaMattina earned
his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance, while obtaining a CPA license. He serves as treasurer of the Buffalo
Sabres Foundation. A native of Buffalo and current resident of Clarence, New York, LaMattina and his wife Susan have two sons, Shawn
Erica Muhleman | Executive Vice President of Business Development - PSE
Erica Muhleman was promoted to executive vice president of business development for Pegula Sports and Entertainment in
February 2017. In her role, she oversees all corporate sales, servicing, suite activation, and corporate and venue events
for the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, Rochester Americans, Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Beauts, Harborcenter and Black River
Muhleman previously served as PSE’s vice president of corporate partnerships, overseeing the service and activation of
corporate partnerships across all PSE entities. Muhleman joined the Bills’ staff in July 2009, serving as director, corporate partnerships from
2009 to 2011, senior director from 2011 to 2012, executive director from 2012 to 2015 and vice president of corporate partnerships from
2015 to 2016.
Before joining the Bills, Muhleman worked as account director in the golf division at IMG (now WME-IMG) from 2007 to 2009, managing
several programs for their consulting business. She also served as a client service associate in IMG’s tennis division from 2004 to 2007,
managing client activity for several top-rated clients, including two ranked No. 1 in the world.
Muhleman first began working in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns in 1999 and served as the Browns’ manager of marketing services from
2001 to 2004. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Kaleida Health Adult Foundation, the Orchard Park Boys and Girls Club and the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of WNY. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master
of Arts degree in Marketing from Cleveland State University.
Muhleman and her husband, Steve, have one son, Carter and reside in Orchard Park, New York.
Mark Preisler | Executive Vice President of Media and Content – PSE
Mark Preisler is completing his fifth full season as executive vice president of media and content for Pegula Sports and
Entertainment. In his role, Preisler serves as Pegula Sports and Entertainment’s leader in all aspects of media and content
production and is responsible for developing and maintaining key effective media relationships.
In 2016, he and his team negotiated a long-term programming and production deal with MSG Network. The deal allows
fans greater access to the Sabres, and Bills through the radio/tv simulcasts of The Instigators and One Bills Live, plus other
original content. Over the past two years, the media and content team has been nominated for nine Emmys and have won four.
Preisler joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment with an extensive background in production and media relations. Before joining PSE, he was
executive producer with NHL Network. In that role, he oversaw the creation of content for NHL platforms and directed all special programming
at signature League events such as the Winter Classic, Stadium Series, All-Star Weekend, the Stanley Cup Final and NHL Draft. Prior to his
time with the NHL, Preisler spent 12 years in multiple roles with ESPN. He served as coordinating producer for the network’s flagship show,
SportsCenter, ESPN’s NFL franchises and ESPNEWS before leaving as senior coordinating producer of Baseball Tonight. Preisler’s team won
two Emmy Awards for its work on SportsCenter. He also worked closely with ESPN’s sales and marketing teams to incrementally increase
revenue through the development of new cross-platform initiatives, including the launching of SportsCenter and ESPNEWS in HD.
Preisler is a graduate of The Nichols School in Buffalo and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Franklin & Marshall College in
Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He lives in Amherst with his wife, Andrea, daughter, Francesca and twin boys, Charlie and Holden.
