Sexton: All-time? I like Tupac. I like J, Cole, too. Those two.
David Nwaba: I like J. Cole. NBA YoungBoy is good as well.
But no real favorites, per se.
Preston: All-time, I’d have to say Tupac.
What was your first concert?
Frye: “Power Jam 14” in Phoenix. It was Flipmode Squad,
Black Eyed Peas (before Fergie). We had Blackstar, we had
Cypress Hill, we had Public Enemy. I think Nas came out
too. It was crazy.
Dekker: My first concert ever was Florida-Georgia Line,
back in my freshman year of college. Surprisingly, I never
went to a concert in my life before that, but I’ve been to my
share concerts since. That was my first, though.
Hill: My dad took me to a Janet Jackson concert when I was
in, like, fourth grade at what was Market Square Arena at
Osman: It was here at The Q! We went to the Justin
Timberlake concert and it was amazing! It was really good.
Nwaba: I’ve actually only been to one concert in my whole
life, surprisingly. It was Kendrick Lamar. I saw him in
Chicago at the United Center -- and it was really good.
Hood: My first concert was actually this year when I moved
to Cleveland. One of my friends -- Big Krit, who is a rapper
-- was performing at the House of Blues. So that was really
my first concert.
Smith: My first concert actually was Kanye West two years
ago at The Garden. It was great. It’s an amazing place to see

I was never a big ‘concert’ guy because I’m huge on listening
to the album and I love the way it sounds on the album. So
sometimes I hate to get to an R&B concert and it doesn’t
sound the same. It’s disappointing.
I mean, certain people are great performers -- like a
Beyonce: she can dance, sing the song and still make it
sound the same. That’s impressive, right! I don’t want
somebody just out there, screaming. I hate that.
Preston: My first concert was a Drake concert. I’m a big
Sexton: My first concert was a Future show. They brought
Gucci Mane out; it was pretty cool.
Clarkson: My first concert was probably Coachella. Travis
Scott was headlining. I think The Weeknd was there too.
My boy, Tyler the Creator. A$AP Rocky. It was a good lineup,
but that was probably my first time going to a concert.
Nance: My first concert ever was my freshman year of
high school, at Blossom, and it was Lil Wayne and Young
Money. It was wild.
If you could play one musical instrument, which one
would it be?
Preston: Drums. Drums for sure. Yeah. Just because it’s a
lot of things I can make noise with.
Zizic: Guitar, maybe.
Sexton: The drums. Rhythm is just like basketball – the
dribbling and shooting.
