dangerous – and frankly, dumb – idea: computer-controlled buses without a Bus
Operator on board carrying passengers in Columbus. This scheme relies
on hack-prone technology that can be easily confused and cause crashes.

Mayor Ginther should be investing in our public
transit system. That would quickly and safely increase
mobility for all and expand the number of solid Bus Operator jobs.
Instead, he is pushing a plan that will put riders at risk, dehumanize transportation, make big
profits for technology corporations and make rich Wall St. investors even richer.
We envision a Smarter Columbus,
a Columbus that puts people first.
