Atlanta Public Schools
In September, Peach Bowl, Inc. announced a historic $20 million gift
to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The donation represents the largest
donation ever given by the Peach Bowl and one of the largest ever
received by Children’s. The $20 million commitment will establish the Peach Bowl LegACy Fund,
which will be hyper-focused on funding clinical drug trials for the most promising new drugs and
treatments for children fighting cancer. The LegACy Fund is named in honor of Anna Charles (AC)
Hollis – the six-year-old daughter of Benji Hollis, the Peach Bowl’s VP of Sales – who lost her fight
with leukemia Sept. 16, 2018.
As the original recruiter and founding sponsor of the College Football Hall of Fame
in Atlanta, the Peach Bowl is committed to the success of our sport’s national shrine.
The Bowl has contributed $13 million to help the College Football Hall of Fame
relocate, design, build, enhance and refurbish its fan experience.
The Peach Bowl, Inc., in partnership with the Chick-fil-A Foundation,
the College Football Playoff Foundation and the Atlanta Football Host
Committee, invested $2 million in a three-year literacy training initiative to train teachers in
advanced reading instruction. Reading proficiency has increased dramatically among K-5 students.
ACADEMIC MENTORING PROGRAM
The Peach Bowl’s academic mentoring program provides an Academic Coach to maximize their
students’ potential by helping them improve study habits, prepare the SAT and ACT, and apply
and transition to college. The Bowl has invested $2.2 million in the program which has helped
students achieve higher GPAs and graduation rates.
