ABOUT LIFT ORLANDO
For more than 70 years, Florida Citrus Sports has served
children and residents in need throughout Central Florida. When
Camping World Stadium was rebuilt in 2014, we began a new
era for that mission through our partnership with Lift Orlando.
Founded in 2012 in an e ort to leverage the stadium’s
reconstruction and ignite a positive transformation in a severely
underserved 32805 zip code — one where just a third of residents
are high school graduates and the median income is below the
poverty line at $18,431 a year — Lift sought to identify opportunities
for Camping World Stadium to be a “beating heart” and spur
growth and development within its own footprint.
Using information provided by more than 1,500 residents during
the largest urban survey in Orlando history, Florida Citrus Sports
teamed with local business leaders to address the individual needs
and physical environments impacting our most vulnerable citizens
through four shared goals:
Mixed-Income Housing — Elevate the standard of living for
the area’s lowest-income residents while providing the quality
amenities that attract new tenants.
Education Pipeline — Deliver a cradle-to-career education
plan that begins in early childhood and continues through
Community Wellness — Create high-quality facilities, programs
and services that enhance health and quality of life while
honoring the neighborhood’s history.
Economic Viability — Lead entrepreneurship and employment
programs that stimulate the economy, raise incomes and ensure

You’re in the middle of an amazing story, born
out of the hearts of people who love the city of
Orlando and what it stands for. And this particular
place has stood for decades for not only bringing
people together around fun, family and games, but
standing up for ideals that are worth standing up for
and crossing boundaries that others may not want
to cross for the sake of making a difference and
leaving a lasting legacy in our community.
