among coaches with 100 career victories...One of the youngest head coaches in history when Raiders
hired him in 1969 at age 32...AFL Coach of the Year, 1969...Under Madden, Oakland never suffered
losing record... Led Raiders to Super Bowl XI...Team won 17 straight games between 1976-77 seasons,

interception returns for touchdowns…A six-time first team All-Pro choice (1989, 1990, 1992, 1993,
1994, 2002)…One of five active players named to the NFL’s 75th anniversary team in 1994…Named
to the NFL all-decade team for the 1990s…Named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1993…Earned
All-Pro honors as a cornerback, kick returner and safety…Selected to play in 11 Pro Bowls…Played
