Ferrell was a three-year starter at Clemson who started in all 44
appearances and totaled 166 tackles, including 50 for loss, 27
sacks, seven passes defensed, five forced fumbles and two fumble

Clemson win their second National Championship in the last three
seasons. Ferrell is the second player in school history to finish as a
two-time Associated Press first-team All-American selection and his 27
career sacks rank tied for fourth in Clemson history.
Entering his third season with the Chiefs, Mahomes became just
the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50 touchdowns
and 5,000 passing yards in a single-season during 2018. The
quarterback led the league in passing touchdowns (50), ranked
second in the league in passing yards (5,097) and passer rating
(113.8), earning the NFL’s Most Valuable Player Award. Mahomes
broke the Chiefs single-season passing touchdown record with 31

passing yards by accomplishing the feat in just 13 career games,
earning his first Pro Bowl Honors.
