New College of Florida, a public
university in Sarasota that serves as
the Honors College of Florida, prepares
intellectually curious students for lives
of great achievement.
Students chart their own education through a
customized academic and career-building
student learning experience, choosing from more
than 40 majors in STEM fields, social sciences,
arts, and humanities.
Through close interaction with faculty, rigorous
academics, and a highly personalized learning
experience, every student receives an
honors-level education. Students also benefit
from individualized career coaching, customized
internship opportunities, and one-on-one
mentoring to guide them in their career
preparation. Starting in Fall 2020, New College
will introduce new programs in emerging fields
like geographic information systems, global
health, and quantitative social science.
